Client objective:

To understand the provision for long-term care (LTC) in the UK as it related to a number of specific conditions such as MS, Dementia, Stroke and Brain trauma. Our client needed to understand the provision in terms of number and type of facility, number of patients handled and the cost of LTC provision, together with payment mechanisms.

Result:

Our research provided insight into the LTC provision in the UK, highlighting the range of facilities available, size, organisations running them, their number, funding mechanisms, costs to patients and the number of patients in the UK with each type of condition. In addition, we provided insight relating to the quality of LTC available, trends and Policies relating to its provision in the UK.
